Goodbye Bangkok !

First impression as I'd shared with Mike remain those I part with: "A city that's literally teeming with life."

Much needed, during the height of the hot season we're now experiencing, is a place offering respite from the noise, heat and general craziness.

This we found in Chinatown's Shanghai Mansion whose brochure said it represented an attempt to recreate a Shanghai mansion from the 1930's.

Headed out early yesterday to catch a flight at Bankok's gleaming, ultramodern airport.

I loved the design details - interior to exterior perspective.

Live long and prosper, Bangkok!
